2012 Winter/Spring
The year has started with several exciting projects. I had the opportunity to work for the second time with Michael and Janeen Damian (director/producer) on the 3rd installment of the Flicka movie franchise for 20th Century Fox. Flicka – Country Pride was mixed at Post Modern Sound by myself on Dialogue and Music and my good friend and mixer extraordinaire Gord Hillier on SFX. We mixed on the main stage at PMS – Mix 1, on the Euphonics System 5. Elements were running of Protools HD. Sound Editorial provided by Jeff Jackson and Stephen Cheung.
Another great project was Radio Rebel for Marvista Entertainment and The Disney Channel. Producer Jane Goldenring and Exec Producers Kim Arnott and Robyn Snyder joined Gord Hillier and I on the mix stage at Post Modern Sound.
Leo nominations were announced recently. I’ve been nominated in 3 categories. Best Sound in an animated program for Max Steel – Mackino’s Revenge as well as Best Sound Editing and Best Overall Sound in a feature film Donovan’s Echo. Congratulations to all the nominees!
